On June 19, 2025, the 2025 Regional Conference Changchun, organized by VDA QMC China and the German Chamber of Commerce in China · North, was successfully concluded at Courtyard by Marriott Changchun. Hendrik Barkeling, Consul General of German General Consulate Shenyang, was invited to attend and delivered a speech on Sino-German relations and cooperation in North China. Stefan Bücke, General Manager of VDA QMC China, and Kathrin Wolfsgruber, Deputy Executive Director of the German Chamber of Commerce in China - North China, delivered opening speeches respectively. In addition, industry experts from VDA QMC China, FAW-Volkswagen, and KPMG shared insights on multiple cutting-edge topics in the automotive sector through the lens of their domains.

The conference focused on quality management and standard implementation in the automotive industry, attracting nearly 60 professionals from automotive manufacturers, OEMs, and suppliers to actively participate.

In the afternoon, attendees visited the Audi FAW NEV plant, touring the production facilities to observe smart manufacturing technologies in practice and gain firsthand insights into the localization of German automotive industry standards in China.
