How to become a qualified VDA 6.8 Process Auditor

1. Obtain a VDA 6.8 Certification of Qualification
Attend the 4-day “VDA 6.8 – Process Auditor – Qualification (ID 961)” and pass the knowledge test to receive a a certificate of qualification. The training fee is RMB 8,000 per person (incl. VAT).
If you hold either of the following VDA QMC-issued VDA 6.3 certificates, you are eligible for the 1-day "VDA 6.8 for VDA 6.3 Process Auditors" (ID 966). Upon passing the knowledge test, you will receive a certificate of qualification. The training fee is RMB 2,800 per person (incl. VAT).
Eligible Certificates:
VDA 6.3:2023 Process Auditor (obtained via ID 381 training).
VDA 6.3:2016 Process Auditor (obtained via ID 315 training) AND a valid upgrade certificate to VDA 6.3:2023 (obtained via ID 333 or ID 384 training).

2. Obtain a VDA 6.8 certificate with a registration number
After obtaining the certificate of qualification mentioned above, you can advance to the "VDA 6.8 – Process Auditor – Examination" (ID 962). Upon passing the examination, you will receive an a VDA certificate with a registration number. The certificate is valid for five years. The examination fee is RMB 1,500 per person (incl. VAT).
